Wasteland rigs out and about

It’s summertime, and we’ve got post-apoc vehicles crashing car shows and conventions around the country.  Some of them should be looking a bit familiar by now!

Jesse Hansen’s Razor Nova was spotted alongside Anthony Eiting’s Junker (that’s the ’67 Ford) at a Salt Lake City show ‘n’ shine not too long ago.  At the end of the day, the Nova even took home a trophy!

Meanwhile, in Idaho, Mark Henry’s MPF Interceptor made an appearance at a little event sponsored by 100.3 The X.

Back in Michigan, yours truly got Trundle and Bovril out to PenguiCon for a static display and post-apoc vehicle presentation.  The scavenger vehicles looked pleasantly out of place at the tech-con, especially when parked next to a brand-new Tesla Model S and a home-built electric sports car!

Meanwhile, the Poor Man’s Interceptor picked up an invited to the Tidewater ComiCon in Virginia Beach.  Of course it was able to make the trip, with owners in costume! (Max and the Doof Warrior, below)  The PMI is majestic on the open road, and drew the attention and adoration of cosplayers and cops alike.
